What happens when a bunch of authors get together over drinks to brainstorm?

Welcome to Bandit Creek, the brainchild of Carla Roma and her multiple collaborators. The town of Bandit Creek is nestled deep in the Rocky Mountains of Montana. Here you’ll meet fascinating residents, learn about the buried town at the bottom of nearby Lost Lake and discover a world of intrigue and excitement.

This is the intro to Bandit Creek books. It has been a life changing ride for me. I was invited to participate in June of 2011. Since I hadn’t written anything in a few years, I gave the invitation lots of thought and then jumped in. Since my book was scheduled for December of 2012, I had some time, so I wrote a book – a historical novel.

But then I got the bug.  Heaven help me. Since then, I have e-pubbed two novels and participated in an anthology for Bandit Creek Books.  With more to come.

Each book in this series has to follow the Bible created by the leads on this project. Each book shares setting and a couple of characters. And every cover has been created by the same cover artist, to ensure continuity in look and feel.

Even with all these similarities across the series, there are differences. Each book  is written by a different author. Each is the type of book the author prefers to write. And the cover for each is a collaboration between the series cover artist and the author.
